The privacy of your information has always been important to this office which has always been bound by professional standards of confidentiality. The firm handles all client provided information with the utmost confidentiality. The firm does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted or required by law, or when necessary to process transactions requested by a client. The collection of nonpublic personal information about you is the result of information that is provided by you or obtained with your authorization. This information may come from various sources, including information received from personal interviews, tax organizers, worksheets and other documents necessary to provide professional services to you.

Your personal nonpublic information has restricted access and is only be shared with members of this office who need to know this information in order to provide professional services and complete the work you have hired the firm to perform. Records are retained relating to the provided services as indicated in the service agreement and in accordance with accounting and government standards. The firm employs physical, electronic and procedural security safeguards to protect your nonpublic personal information.

You should also be aware that any disclosures you make during the interview for tax and / or accounting services is confidential, but not protected from the IRS. Privileged communications (those that are protected from IRS authority to compel testimony) are limited to non-criminal tax advice on matters before the IRS or non-criminal tax proceedings in federal courts. Although the firm considers any information you provide as confidential, return preparation engagements are not covered by advisor-client privilege.
